We had an amazing stay at Bush and Gables. We were very impressed with the house that we stayed in at Bush and Gables. There was ample space for everyone. Everything worked well. Even though we had a slight mishap with water on the first evening (due to an outage in the area) the owners got back to us with a speedy reply and all was sorted the next morning. The pool was a hit with everyone too.

Lekker vir 'n groot groep. Ons was 'n groep van 10 en die huis was lekker groot om ons almal te akkommodeer alhoewel daar net 7 vurke was en van ons met lepels moes eet. Daar word ook slegs 2 rolle toiletpapier per badkamer verskaf en ons was daar vir 4 nagte, so neem maar ekstra saam. Het ook verwag dat iemand sou inkom deur die dag om skoon te maak, maar dit is nie ingesluit nie wat teleurstellend is vir so 'n groot groep/huis. 3/5 vir netheid want die swembad was groen en van die kombuistoerusting vol stof. Anders as dit het ons lekker gebly, aircons werk wonders, beddens slaap lekker en dek/braai-area kuier lekker.

Baie dankie vir julle terugvoering. Soos geadverteer is dit n selfsorg eenheid. Ons verskaf die nodige goedjies vir julle gemak. Ek vra groot onverskooning oor die swembad. Dit was glad nie onder my aandag gebring nie, Anders sou ek dit vir julle reg gestel het so ook oor die stof in die kombuis. Verder is ek baie bly dat julle lekker gekuier het en dat julle veilig weer terug is by julle bestemming. Groete Belinda

Belinda and Tiaan were such great hosts and were available to answer any questions we had. My stay went from good to bad the moment we were informed of a lioness on the loose. It would help if the property had fencing around their parameters. We would feel safer. The kids were disappointed with the pool size. They could not swim, its just there to cool off. I also felt that there was no effort made to clean up and set up the top balcony, the furniture was scattered all over in no order. They could also invest in a bigger fridge and freezer space, we were there for 6 night and our food couldn't really fit in the fridge and freezer, that made us to continuously drive to the shops daily to stock up on ice. The lighting in the dining and lounge room is poor, you cannot see your food as you eat. It would help if there is a big fan in the dining and lounge room.

Thank you Tsholofelo for your review. I do apologize that your experience went from good to bad. Fortunately we are located in a game reserve next to Kruger National park. Predators come in from time to time because we are in their habitat. Fence in Marloth Park is not allowed. The pool size is according to the rules and regulations of Marloth Park because animals can easily get out of the pool should they fall in. There is 2 bigger pools in Marloth Park for visitors to use. We have 2 fridges in the kitchen to keep stuff cold. We will look into it in getting another freezer. The top balcony was set up according to what people use it for. Unfortunately it is an outside balcony and we do have monkeys/baboons playing and roaming free in Marloth Park. This makes it difficult to keep it clean and organized during your stay. There was 4 free standing fans in the house that you could have used in the dinning/lounge area. We will change the globe's in the dinning/lounge area with brighter globes. Once again, thank you for your stay and again we do apologize for all the inconveniences you had but unfortunately some off the matters you pointed out is according to Marloth Parks rules and regulations and we are located in a game reserve. Clean, spacious and amazing hosts. The venue is perfectly located in the middle of the bush! It was quiet, clean, and the house catered exactly what we needed as a mixed group. There are clean bathrooms in each room, aircons that work magically and the kitchen well equipped. The deck is beautiful and all the facilities that this house offers will blow your mind. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. I gladly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet, but stylish break!
