Dunn's Castle is a beautiful castle built in the late 1890s and located in the tranquil town of Piketberg. With its timeless charm and tranquil ambience, the castle offers a peaceful retreat for guests seeking an escape from the bustling city lifestyle.

The property comprises 8 Victorian-style bedrooms that can accommodate up to 16 guests. The main bedroom contains a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, while 3 bedrooms have a double bed each. The last 3 bedrooms are each furnished with 2 single beds. The rooms share the use of 3 bathrooms, two of which are fitted with a bath and shower, and the third has a shower only.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, and toaster. The dining room features a dining table. A pool table is available for guests' entertainment.

The property boasts a private swimming pool where guests can cool off, while a well-equipped braai area provides the perfect setting for outdoor gatherings.

AS A REGISTRED HERITAGE BUILDING, we as the custodians have the duty to preserve Dunn’s Castle for generations to come, for another 100 years or more.
As such, a walk through of the Castle will be facilitated prior to check in to explain a few key important details to avoid any damages that might occur, also to confirm that all antiques, memorabilia, old items and furniture will be left in the same condition as on check in. Kindly familiarise yourself with the following conditions of stay:
1. NO SMOKING is allowed in the Castle.
2. Kindly refrain from RUNNING OR JUMPING on the wooden floors. These are still in original condition and will be impossible to replace if damaged.
3. For families with kids, please make use of the lovely outside garden to play and also keep an eye on the kiddies for their own safety. We strongly discourage running and playing in the building.
4. Kindly ensure that anyone making use of the antique snooker table do so with care and with adult supervision.
5. STRICTLY no fires allowed in any of the rooms apart from the kitchen wood stove.
6. Although bath tubs are fitted throughout the Castle they are mainly for show purposes. Should you require a bath, kindly make use of the green or blue bathrooms downstairs and not the antique baths.

The above conditions of stay is imposed as a measure to preserve this Heritage building and we request that they are adhered to.
