Gourikwa Reserve is situated 22 km from Gouritsmond in the Hessequa District. Offering quality self-catering accommodation and beautiful views of the Indian Ocean, Gourikwa Reserve is ideal for guests looking for a peaceful atmosphere while enjoying nature.
Accommodation comprises 6 Gourikwa Cottages that can accommodate 2 to 4 guests, 6 Fisherman Houses that sleep 4 guests, and 29 Sleeper Villa Suites suited for 2 guests.
Each unit has its own bathroom fitted with either a bath or a shower. All the cottages and Fisherman Houses have a kitchen fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery, while the Villa Suites have a kitchenette with heat-and-eat facilities.
The reserve is also the perfect setting for a beachside wedding with the picturesque chapel being a mere 50 m from the shore. Within close proximity from the chapel is a banquet hall and the pool house can be utilized as an additional bar facility with restrooms.
Gourikwa’s conferencing facilities are ideal for groups or corporates and can facilitate up to 50 people. Being an isolated reserve, groups get the chance to experience a true escape making team-building, training or motivational talks so much more effective.
