This family-run treasure, Happy Lands Farmstay, situated in the heart of the Addo Valley is the only place where nature, wildlife, and relaxation truly meet. Happy Lands offers its guests the ultimate Addo Holiday.
All 9 guest rooms are furnished with comfortable beds, a private entrance, air-conditioning, and a private patio with seating. Each room is fully equipped for self-catering.
Guests can enjoy a braai area in the garden, as well as a garden room with an undercover braai area and seating. For a sociable atmosphere, there is a fire pit where guests can gather in the evenings. The large, beautifully manicured garden also features a play area for children to enjoy.
On-site facilities include a swimming pool, hairdryers available on request, booking of game drives, internet facilities, secure parking, and tours to the citrus factory on request. Breakfast is available on request for an additional cost per person, and children are most welcome.
Guests can experience true South African hospitality on a working citrus farm. Hearty breakfasts are served on the veranda with views of the beautiful garden and lush shrubbery. During citrus season, guests can sample Nita's homemade jams, preserves, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Nita also delights in preparing homemade meals using fresh vegetables, fruit, and herbs from the garden. On warm summer evenings, traditional braais and potjies can be enjoyed around the fire.
Guests are encouraged to take a walk around the farm to enjoy the countryside, while those who prefer a more relaxed day can lounge by the pool between game viewing.
