Tranquil, serene and relaxing. Excellent stay, surroundings were so relaxing and calm, perfect getaway from the city life.

Decent location, all amenities available but admin intensive. I had booked the weekend for a quick getaway with the family, the property was as described, it had everything we needed. It met the expectation for the price. We were quite happy with the full package DStv. However, I felt that booking with this place was quite admin intensive. Usually when booking accommodation, I receive check-in info immediately with everything I need to know and can share all of this with the other guests, in this case, I had to first request the check-in info and details for deposit (a week before). Only on arrival at accommodation did I receive the info to enter and exit the complex, which is awkward, as you've been travelling, you just want to check-in and get settled, instead you have to now remember all these verbal instructions just to get into the house. WiFi is spotty and cell reception in area is bad, so it was a little of a struggle. Once we settled in, only then was I informed that I had not paid the extra charge for additional vehicles (per day) which was apparently stated clearly on the T's & C's - but when going through the booking confirmation and the ad for the place, it is part of the "read more"section - it was not re-iterated again once booking was made or when i asked for the check-in info. Then as a final annoyance, I was told, I would receive my deposit refunded within 10 working days after checking out and inspection; on day 9 I queried when I could expect refund, on day 10 I queried it again and was told it would be paid the next day - which it was paid, 11 days later after 2 queries. Honestly, having to do all his admin is too much, it kind of put a damper on my weekend as it began and then still dealing with it 2 weeks later, it's not cool. Would not recommend. It would of also been nice to have a list in the property with all the info: gate and security info, a checklist for all the kitchen items and utensils, comment section for things that you may note during your stay - we had noted the glasses were not from the same set; if there was an issue with glasses during the post stay inspection, where is the evidence it was like that when we arrived. the same with 2 pillow cases were found to have tares at the seams on arrival. These things could've been issues after our departure. A more personal approach and attention to these kinds of small details would have been appreciated.
