Easy, very clean, no insects, great value. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Henriette. The communication was excellent. Christina, the house manager, took very good care of us. All wishes were fulfilled, and we got support when needed. We thank you very much and can only recommend the accommodation.

Disappointed. What a disappointment, for a luxurious Guesthouse it had lots of maintenance/housekeeping problems. On arrival the front garden is not been clean, and the pool was green and only turned blue on 3rd day. The alarm system struggle to switch off and then later when we wanted to go to the shops it did not want to activate again. They have solar systems but what a nightmare, the first night was without lights and fans from 23:00 till 08:00 the next morning every night thereafter if you turn on the fans the lights go off again so you do not dare switch on the fans. Then when the supply is low it makes a noise that the downstairs guests could not sleep. Main Bedroom. 1. Aircon Remote did not work. 2. Toilet seat broken / loose. 3. Bath drain blocked. 4. Bathroom Floor Tiles Lose. Upstairs Room. The shower door rail is broken / loose. Downstairs Double Bed Room. The linen and blanket had stains. Main Kitchen. Plates and glasses had chips/cracks. Outside Pool. Besides the pool being green on arrival the tiles around the pool is cracked and one person cut themselves with a broken tile. The remote for the fan also did not work. House is overcharged for all the problems we experienced and every night there is a problem with the lights even when it's not loadshedding did not even enjoy the lovely view because could not use the fans and it was extremely hot.

Hi Ian, We are really sorry that you experienced this house as "disappointed". We apologise for your total inconvenience during your stay. If we can just explain that the solar is only a BACKUP system, and unfortunately solar works with sunlight, and also only for the lights only. The reviews before your gave us a total different feedback, and also a 5 star for location which you rated location only 2. Again, sorry that this was not up to your standard Ian. Henriette en Marius, baie dankie vir julle gasvryheid! Die huis is puik, die diens uitstekend om nie eers van die ligging te praat nie. Was regtig 'n heerlike vakansie! Baie dankie! Ons het nie eers besef daar is loadshedding nie - die huis het sonkrag en 'n generator - was 'n absolute wenner. Sal Luxury guesthouse Co @ RiverHouse definitief aanbeveel.

A breath of fresh air! Excellent location! Been visiting Marloth Park for 22 years and this was the cleanest house I've stayed at! What a pleasant surprise! Stylish, comfortable and well kitted out!

Beautiful setting. Well equipped house. Terrible road access. Lighting set up a problem, a combination of solar power and Eskom and solar power is inadequate to supply lights and fans.
