Getaways that are good for body and soul. Although it was a wet, cold winter in the Cape, Mossel was cozy and warm. We could break away and rest and relax body and soul. Very puppy-friendly accommodation with special treats for guests and puppies. Thank you very much!

We walked a lot and rested, the sea is very close to the house. Had a lovely stay, location was perfect.

Great getaway! Mossel is the Gem is walking distance from the sea and was the perfect getaway for us! Everything was tidy and the kitchen was equipped with all the accessories one could need. We had a great time!

Pleasantly surprised with clean and tidy facilities. We could take our puppy with us and there were even snacks and a water bowl with bedding for him. He felt so special and we were just as spoiled with food and availability of WiFi. It was a particularly nice experience to be able to rest and walk there. We would just like to park our vehicle behind the gates.

Great break with our dog children! We enjoyed a lovely break at Mossel is the Gem of Yzerfontein. Enid was patient and accommodating with all our requests and questions and that is much appreciated. Our dogs enjoyed the few days away just as much. The apartment is nicely furnished and the location is fantastic. Thank you Enid and family - we will definitely see you again!

Breathtaking, peaceful, comfortable, heavenly. Mossel is a comfortable, beautifully appointed unit just a few steps from the beach. Beautiful, clean and tidy with a very nice patio overlooking the sea. The water bowl, blankets and cookies for the dog-children are special. Enid and Johan are incredibly pleasant owners who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Surely we and our dog-children will visit there again.
