Patcham Place & Lilliput House offers luxury 4-star accommodation located in the heart of the charming mountain village of Clarens in the Eastern Free State.
Each of the 7 recently refurbished Deluxe and Classic Rooms offer views of the Rooiberg mountain range, or our idyllic garden that teems with local bird life. Extra-length, king-size beds with 400-thread Egyptian cotton ensures that you wake up well-rested and rejuvenated, and in winter electric blankets offer warmth and cosiness. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with shower only, and features complimentary Charlotte Rhys amenities and disposable slippers.
In-room facilities include individually-controlled air-conditioning, 42-inch Smart Televisions with DStv guesthouse bouquet and Netflix, tea and Nespresso coffee making facilities, a work station or small desk, as well as a safety deposit box.
Lilliput House can accommodate 2 adults and is furnished with a king-size bed which can be converted into 2 single beds upon request. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and wash-basin. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove and microwave.
Other facilities include a wood-fired fireplace, and private deck where guests are able to experience the view of the Rooiberg mountains.
An excellent breakfast is provided that includes an extensive continental spread, as well as a choice of eggs and other hot items cooked to order in our intimate dining room which leads out onto the sun deck overlooking the garden and Rooiberg mountain range, which makes for a private and intimate area to relax and enjoy your meal.
