Lovely big house, beautiful view, friendly host. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Can easily accommodate 5 couples. Needs some minor TLC. Our group was on a Swartland wine trip. The house is close to most of the attractions in Riebeeck-Kasteel and surrounds. The kitchen needs some more pots, serving dishes and small utensils for proper self-catering. Hot showers were a problem (probably due to loadshedding while we were there) as well as slow drainage in the showers. I would definitely stay there again. Moses was a gracious host and Jose was an unexpected extra who serviced the house daily.

We were the only guests, so it was quiet. For overnight it was a nice place as we were out exploring the area all day. A shy girl welcomed us. She was very helpful and friendly. Lovely house! The house is very neat and nicely decorated. Layout is fantastic and it has a beautiful view. Beds are very comfortable. Knives and forks etc. is not sufficient, very little, old and not one sharp knife in the kitchen. Plates, bowls, glasses are new and more than enough. Provision for wood and matches would be appreciated as there is a fireplace and barbecue. Please also provide guests with a note with the WiFi code. The weekend at Die Kasteel was lovely!
