The Forest Inn is a charming off-the-grid cottage nestled on the edge of the Knysna forest, surrounded by beautiful gardens and native vegetation. This peaceful retreat offers scenic views of mountains, forests, and valleys, with walking trails leading to the river and waterfalls. Rain-harvested water ensures an eco-friendly experience, and organic honey from the property's hives is also available.
This 1-bedroom cottage sleeps 2 guests, furnished with a double bed and a bathroom fitted with a shower-over-bath.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, gas stove with an oven. The living area features a comfy seating area, a cosy fireplace, and a dining table where guests can enjoy their meals. Laundry and parking facilities are available on-site.
There is a designated area for a braai area, and chairs, and an umbrella can be provided on request. 2 very friendly dogs will welcome you on arrival but are not allowed to venture indoors.
Beyond the farm, guests can embark on day visits to other attractions and amenities in nearby areas around the Garden Route including an enriching birdwatching experience. For those who play golf, the property is a 25-minute drive to Simola Golf Estate and 30 minutes to Pezula Golf Estate.
Knysna town with its restaurants is about 25km away from the property. There is also an adequately stocked grocery store nearby.
