Not what we expected. We drove a whole 9 hours from Cape Town with hopes that we can rest peacefully before heading out for business the next day. Unfortunately, there's so much water damage in this self-catering unit that the smell was unbearable. Mould all around. Smell of dog urine, our towels were wet, kitchen dish cloth was dirty just to name a few. At this hour we contacted the gentleman that checked us in. We explained the situation, and he apologized profusely. He said he'll move us to a tiny room for the night just to rest and then we'll be moved to a better unit the next day. We slept in this tiny room for the night. The whole roof is black with mould inside the room as well as the bathroom area. Curtains are filthy. The next 2 nights we were placed in a better room that is part of the main house. We were offered breakfast for these 2 days. I do understand that heavy rains cause damage, but surely the owner of this guest house has to see what's going on and rather not rent out rooms until maintenance is done. It's not fair paying the full price for something you don't receive as advertised. No compensation was offered. Hats off to the lovely lady that made us tasty breakfast!

Very peaceful, quiet area. For accommodation that is very neat, it is rather disappointing that they do not have full DStv. Had to stay at home due to surgery so a more complete TV package would have been nice.

Not satisfied. I booked specifically because they advertise that you can check in until 10pm and paid extra for a room with a king size bed. The bigger bed was necessary and important to me for personal reasons. I was contacted and told I had to check in before 19:00 which was impossible for me. That sorted out.
