Beautiful, tranquil, loved the fresh air away from the city's hustle and bustle. Would recommend it to anyone. Just the no drop-off and pick-up rule should be more clear. Thanks to the owners for letting us stay a few hours longer.

I am really sorry to hear that you were disappointed
It’s a pity that you did not inform me of this as I did send a Whatsapp asking if everything was okay and got no reply.
We are in the process of upgrading the house as you could see from the bathroom which we are almost finished tiling.
I did check the lights and couldn’t find the 2 that didn’t work.
I will make sure to include sharp knives in the future as well as salt, pepper, and sugar. I also checked the kettle and found it be working.
In the past, I have put braai grids out only to find they are missing. Therefore, I now ask every guest in both the original quote and the confirmation email to please bring their own braai grid and tongs. I did double-check and it is there in both the emails that I sent you.
We don’t advertise that there is Wi-Fi

I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed.
All guests at DHM are given a form stating all the rules at the gate. One of which is no loud music. They are requested to sign it as an acknowledgment that they have read, understood, and agree with the rules. These are the resort rules, not mine.
I can tell you that a complaint was sent to my agents about the noise. It came from the house directly behind where the courtyard is. The complaint was about the noise coming from 117 where you were staying.
Complaints at DHM affect our ability as homeowners to rent out our houses in the future. They are taken very seriously by the directors. Therefore, if we receive one we cannot ignore it.
I have spoken to the agents and was informed that you were courteously and respectfully asked to please turn the music down. You were not asked to leave, that was your decision. So we are confused as to why that would make you feel unwelcome.
You did tell me that if you have to turn the music down you won't be able to enjoy yourselves. We have had many groups with the same number of guests who have stayed with us and enjoyed themselves without receiving any complaints.
For this and the other reasons that I have stated above I could not offer a refund
