Clean, welcoming, cosy. Two weary motorbike travellers bunked down for the night in a welcoming and clean lodge and room. The lounge area was cosy enough to rest their weary bodies and enjoy a few nightcaps before hitting the single beds (requested) for a peaceful night's sleep. Breakfast the next morning was hearty and healthy.

Comfortable but not luxury. Unfortunately, I was not impressed. This was advertised as a 4-star establishment; however, I would not give it 2 stars. Not sure how they managed to get that? Overall, it was a lovely place, but the attention to detail to call it luxury accommodation was far off. For the price, I wouldn't recommend it as luxury or 4-star.

Hello Tarryn, We are sorry to hear that our establishment was not entirely what you expected. As you were travelling for business, you may have been expecting a more "modern establishment" like you would find at a chain hotel in a city, whereas our establishment is definitely more country chic, geared towards leisure travel and not modern in our decor in any way. We fully understand that this is not always everyone's preferred style. We are a super small business literally at the end of the road in Africa that offers a few rooms with an old-world country feel but modern amenities. As your room was an entry-level room booked at a big discount, we are not quite sure how much luxury you were expecting for what you booked, but this room does have three separate beds with white percale linen and extra blankets available, a tea & coffee station with several options, a heater, air conditioner for heating or cooling, outside patio with a sea view, a TV with DStv, dressing gowns, a hair dryer, an en suite bathroom with towels, a vanity kit, hand soap, hand & body lotion, shampoo & shower gel, and a shower, as well as a safe in the cupboard. This is usually more than sufficient for travellers' needs. We will, however, look into what we can add to this room without changing the style of our establishment to make it more luxurious for travellers in the future. We thank you for your feedback, and we strive to improve.

Gasvry en gemaklik. Candice was baie gasvry en het lekker saam met Phil, die eienaar, gekuier. Die kamer is vol karakter en alles baie gemaklik en skoon. Ons sal graag wil terugkeer vir 'n kamer met 'n see-uitsig. Die keuses vir ontbyt was groot en alles heerlik voorberei.

Awesome place. The L'Agulhas region is a gem to be treasured. The guest house feels like home and fits beautifully with the often, moody winter weather. It is exactly what we expected at the price point.

Goeie, vriendelike diens met ongelooflike ligging en uitsigte. Naby alles. Die Lodge is goed gelee in L'Agulas naby restaurante en besienswaardighede. Die eienaars (en familie) is gasvry en baie vriendelik.
