Great location, already recommended to my son who will be in South Africa in October — great place just outside the main hustle and bustle but close enough to walk. The only comment on the negative side was kind of felt lost when we got there which was a bit before normal check-in — did a few dance moves outside the gate and a cleaner lady opened for us. Our room was ready and we could leave our stuff. It was a great stay, thanks very much (maybe put a bell at the front gate).

Comfortable and warm in winter. Considering that the weather was awful, the flat (not a cottage) was nice to come back to and easy to warm up. It is easy to walk to the quaint little shops and restaurants.

Lovely summer holiday with the in-laws and our baby. We rented Dalebrook and Millwood cottages for a visit from my in-laws. It was the perfect setup, with us staying in the smaller cottage with our 1 year old, and them staying in the larger space. The accommodation was clean, well stocked, and an excellent location. We enjoyed early morning swims at Dalebrook tidal pool, followed by coffee at the Chardonnay deli next door. 10/10 would recommend for any families travelling that might want to split into two separate units.
