A quiet comfortable stay with the ocean across the street. For a property that caters for four people, we found only 3 mugs, 3 barstools, and 3 dinner plates. We were proactive when the main ceiling light was not working, along with a missing globe in the bedroom. Both were replaced, and a dusty light cover was washed. The front right stove plate was not working, and the braai grill was missing. We went back to the agents to borrow one. A list of issues was given to the agents at check-out, including the need for a cutting board which was in the photo. As property owners in Cape Town and an oceanfront condo in Florida, USA, there are standards when we list on Airbnb. We urge the owner and agents to improve. The Jafet unit has a lot going for it. The beds were comfortable, there was a good working shower with plenty of hot water, a power strip in the kitchen, a good-sized fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, and coffee machine. There were plenty of utensils, bowls, and side plates. This is a quiet property with views of the ocean, conveniently located a few minutes' drive into town (Struisbaai).
