Memorable and exceptional: we will be back. Our visit to Fairhill Guest House met and exceeded our highest expectations for a venue suitable for a 3-day get-together of our extended family for our 60th wedding anniversary. The accommodation and layout were ideal for 4 adult couples and younger (20-something) grandchildren. We all had our private space, and the extended living room and all accoutrements were ideal for group activities. The house provided everything that the inter-generational group could possibly want, even in iffy weather. The Grotto and pool were a wonderful hidden gem, and the 7km 4x4 visit to the private Walker Bay beach was very special. The most helpful booking arrangements and the estate managers, exceptional personal, but unobtrusive, help, advice, and kindness in so many ways were the cherry on top of a very special visit to a very special place attended to by very special people. We will definitely look for more opportunities to share the experience in the future with friends and family. Thank you, 'Fairhill Private Nature Reserve Team'!

Wonderful setting in pristine fynbos. The only reservation we have is that the owners must install an inverter. The taps had to be operated by a generator during load shedding and this is highly inconvenient.

Enjoyable weekend stay for a large family. We had a good stay. It was a great place to gather as a large extended family. The place needs some TLC as it is very outdated and needs some maintenance. It is very spacious and the rooms are large and all en-suite. We had to request new sheets in one room as they were stained, but these were changed when service came in. Due to staying on a long weekend, we only had service once while we were there. The lady that came in was very lovely and helpful. I had to buy WiFi daily, which added quite a cost as everyone, including older children, parents, and ourselves, are used to WiFi. To have uncapped WiFi for this home would make sense when charging as much as they do. It was very windy while we were there, so I don't think we experienced it the way it should be experienced, but overall I would recommend it to others. Afternoon sunsets were special and drinks on the patio were lovely. We didn't attempt going down to the beach on the 4/4 route as the wind was pumping too much.

Beautiful location, lovely house which is well looked after. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We had such a lovely week with family and our two small dogs at Fairhill. The location is brilliant, on a beautiful property with stunning views but close enough to Stanford and Gansbaai for anything one needs or activities in the area. Patricia, the housekeeper, is an absolute gem and looked after us so well, nothing was too much trouble. Malani and Angeline were always there to make sure everything went well with our stay. We would highly recommend Fairhill Guest House and will definitely be back. Thank you.

This is a great house for family gatherings or groups of friends. Accommodation is comfortable with all rooms having an en-suite bathroom. There is wonderful common spaces - both inside and outside. The kitchen is well stocked - everything one would need and feels very homely. Patricia was very pleasant and got on with her daily duties. We had a lovely stay - thank you Fairhills team!

Stunning location for sitting around, walking or mountain biking. A detailed map of the nature reserve showing the route to the beach and other mountain bike route options would be useful.

Lekker wegbreek van die stadsgejaag. Alles wat mens nodig het! Ons gaan vir seker weer daar gaan kuier. Die privaat strand is asemrowend. Kaggel het gehelp vir die ysige storm tydens ons kuier. Ons gaan weer as dit lekker warm is om die strand en swembad uit te toets.

Had a wonderful, relaxing time. A wonderful home with everything you need. Great views and so peaceful. The kids had a ball running around and our dog loved the space and investigating everything. Angelina, thanks for your kindness and all the lovely spoils. Would love to visit again.
