Isolated cottage with mountain views. Perfect location in the quiet outskirts of town with stunning views of the mountain from the patio. Well equipped and spacious cottage, everything in working order.

Quiet and peaceful. We had such an amazing time. The accommodation was centrally located and only a quick walk to the town square. The accommodation itself was cosy and comfortable. We had eagles and owls nesting nearby, which was a real treat. We had heaters and lots of blankets, so we were very cosy and comfortable. The only thing we struggled with was a tin opener and sponge. The fireplace chimney was also broken, so after a few hours of having the fire on, we had to air out the place.

Memorable. Excellent, we really enjoyed our stay. Such a beautiful, stylish cottage. Loved the porch with its beautiful view. Spotless clean and comfortable. Would love to visit again and most definitely recommend to everyone.

A pleasant retreat at Jesshil: convenience, comfort, and courteous service. Jesshil offers convenient access to the town center, with Clarens Conservancy Trails just steps away. Our golden retriever thoroughly enjoyed the expansive garden and observing the surroundings from the deck. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering needs, and both the bedrooms and living areas provide comfortable accommodations. While the addition of hand-washing soap in the bathrooms would further enhance the amenities, I do suggest that housekeeping pays closer attention to cleaning the showers to remove any insects, spider webs, and hair. Additionally, ensuring the cleanliness of the 'clean glasses' in the kitchen would be beneficial. Despite these minor concerns, our stay at Jesshil was delightful, and we would certainly choose to stay there again on future visits to Clarens. Furthermore, I must commend the efficient and friendly communication with the property owner. They graciously accommodated our request for a late check-out, which enabled us to fully enjoy the Clarens Conservancy Trails on our last day and return to the cottage for a refreshing shower afterward. Their flexibility greatly contributed to our overall positive experience at Jesshil.

Cottage was lovely and very well equipped. We had a lovely stay. When collecting the keys around 13:15, the office was closed although the time frame for collection of the keys said 14:00 at the latest. Luckily, the friendly shop owner adjacent to the office managed to get hold of the lady before she left. We had an unforeseen visitor at the door, asking to wash the car, even though the motor gate was closed (not locked though).
