We slept well. We slept well, the host was very welcoming and friendly. However, the place is not very clean, the host was kind enough to give us a room with its own bathroom, apparently what the website does not mention for other rooms at the place is that there is a communal bathroom. The shower area was extremely dirty. Almost mouldy. Very disgusting. We did not shower. The kitchen is very dirty, the place smells of mould, the coffee mugs are all stained and smell of mould. The bedding was very dirty and stained, the blanket on the bed had patches of yellow stains and was very disgusting to use. The owners should invest in cleaning the place up, it is a very nice place but very dirty.

As a family we went for the Knysna Marathon. The wooden structure makes for very little privacy and the double bed matress is very very old. I decided to sleep on one of the bunk beds instead.

Not what was expected. Pictures and description on website not clear. We booked a 6 sleeper and thought it was 2 rooms. 1 big room on first floor. Had senior citizens with the group that can't climb stairs. N2 lodge accommodated us in the 8-sleeper ground floor unit which was appreciated. Still, 1 room 1 shower. Also ran out of gas so couldn't finish breakfast on second day. Accommodation will be fine for a family group that don't mind sharing 1 room and it is quite central to harbor etc.

Neat and clean but it wasn't up to the standard I had expected. The room was tiny and I had to sit on the bed as there was no chair.

It was ok for the price. I was shocked to find out that no alcohol is allowed to be consumed on the premises. I missed that during my booking. However, people did consume alcohol at the braai area while busy with a braai; maybe they had permission. Please install an extractor fan in the toilet/bathroom since there are no windows.

Amazing friendly service. Definitely will stay there again. Amazing staff. Was happy all the time. Definitely recommend to everyone to stay there. Easy to get there. The rooms were clean.

Die staf is verskriklik akkommoderend! Ons het in een van die vloereenhede geboek. Dit was byna onmoontlik om te slaap met die mense wat bo ons slaap, die eenhede is geskei deur houtvloere. Na ons eerste aand se frustrasies het die eienaar ons aanbeveel na twee ander eenhede wat ons tyd geliefliker kan maak die volgende aand. Ons het dit verskriklik waardeer, dankie. Beddens was gemaklik. Dit is 'n gesellige plekkie. Basiese goed word voorsien (koffie, melk, handdoeke. ), vol DSTV was in ons eerste kamer ingesluit. Wifi is aan wanneer krag af is. Badkamers is mooi, maar word bederf met die dreine wat stink. Weet nie of Knysna 'n probleem het nie. Daar is 'n groot kombuis wat almal van gebruik mag maak, hy word baie skoon gehou.
