Amazing views and the loveliest hosts!

We had the most amazing stay at Paul Wallace. The owners were lovely and really went the extra mile to make us feel at home! The view from the cottage is beautiful. We'd also highly recommend booking a tasting of their wines (right next to the cottage). We'll be back!

Great location for touring the Elgin valley and Botriver area. Good wine available and a fire to ward off the cool climate.

Ons het so lekker gebly! Die plaas is 'n "hidden gem".

Ons het so lekker gebly! Die plaas is 'n "hidden gem". Ons kon draf op die plaas, swem in die dam, braai op die stoep en wynproe reg langs die cottages saam die wynmaker self! Paul het ons van aankoms tot koebaai tuis laat voel. Alles is mooi skoon en netjies en goed ingerig. Sal dit beslis aanbeveel aan enigiemand!

Moet weer kom kuier!

Die eienaars is baie vriendelik, die huisies het als wat jy nodig het, selfs blits en charcoal, dit voel soos jou huis, die plaas is mooi en die vallei is mooi. In so 'n plek moet jy langer bly, ons een dag was te min.

Pragtige omgewing, ruim en gerieflike blyplek en gasvrye mense.

Bly op 'n werkende wynplaas met 'n pragtige uitsig oor die wingerde en die dam. Gasvrye ontvangs en 'n heerlike wynproe-geleentheid.

Pragtige uitsig en het baie veilig gevoel.

Baie gerieflijk en skoon. Baie lekker gebou in 'n gerieflike kothuis. Sal beslis weer gebruik maak van hul gasvryheid.

Delightful stay in Elgin Valley.

What a delightful experience! We were greeted by Nicky and also met Paul who did a personal wine tasting for us. The stay on the farm reminded me of my childhood and it was an awesome stay! We would like to visit again, maybe with some of our wine-loving kids. This felt like a home away from home!

I really enjoyed my stay. From the walk through the vineyards with one of the dogs keeping me company to exploring Grabouw and surroundings and reading next to the cosy fireplace, it was a great time.

Paul en Nicky is baie vriendelik en laat mens tuis voel. Ons sal die wegbreek definitief aanbeveel. Die Elgin Railway Mark is 'n moet as mens die area besoek.

Een van die rustigste plekke om te ontspan.

Paul Wallace se gasvryheid en diens is van uitstaande gehalte. So baie plekke in die omgewing om te besoek en te geniet, die rustigheid is welkom. Nogal verrassend om 'n wynplaas te sien tussen die vele appelplantasies.

Verblyf is netjies en skoon.

Verbetering wat ek sal voorstel. Kamers het geen plek vir tasse of enige hangplek vir klere nie. Vir die prys sou dit gaaf gewees het as skoonmakers net ingekom het vir skottelgoed en beddens opmaak. Ander soortgelyke plekke doen dit.

Thank you for your review Jannie.
We appreciate that there is not a lot of storage space for clothing but as these cottages are restored farm workers cottages, we have limited space to work with. There is a rail with hooks and hangers in each bedroom but we will look at adding some more hooks behind the doors. As for the servicing of the cottages, we do not have any staff living on the farm so that would present a major problem for us, especially over the weekends or when we are off the farm on sales trips. Also there is always the risk of theft, which is something we would prefer to avoid. Hope you understand.

Absoluut heerlik.

Eienaars is baie vriendelik en gasvry. Ons het dit baie geniet om speletjies te speel laatmiddag voor kothuis en een aand gebraai. Het ook nie geweet dat Paul Wallace sulke lekker wyn maak nie.

Enjoyable stay at Paul Wallace Wines

Although we have visited here a few times for tastings, this was our first overnight stay in the cottages. Paul and Nicky are great hosts and Paul's enthusiasm for his wines is contagious. The wines were great and the Crakerjack Bordeaux Blend is exceptional. The wines and accommodation is highly recommended. Thank you.

Pragtige uitsig en rustige omgewing met Netflix saans na 'n lekker braai.

Ons is baie vriendelik ontvang en afgesien. Dit is 'n bonus dat daar 'n wynproekamer is op die plaas. Dit plaas is nie so ver van Elgin railway market en Grabouw vir as jy bietjie die omgewing wil gaan ontdek.

Ons het ons verblyf hier ongelooflik baie geniet. Dit was skoon en netjies, waarde vir geld en die gasheer Bobby was baie vriendelik en hulpvaardig. Sal enige dag weer hier bly.
