Homely, relaxed, comfy. Before we even arrived, the owner sent us a message to introduce themselves, they sent through an exact location, advised on the route and gave us the load shedding schedule. When we got there, they gave us a tour of the house which consisted of multiple bedrooms with a mixture of double and single beds. The linens were clean, crisp and fresh with plenty of pillows and one of the most amazing beds I have ever slept in. The kitchen had two very nice fridges, all of the cutlery and crockery you could possibly need. We spent the majority of our time outside at the braai, which was very clean and easy to use. The shower's water pressure was absolutely wonderful, and after every bout of load shedding, the friendly owner came to turn the geyser on and we had no issues with cold water. The owners were very welcoming and sent us a flyer for activities happening in the area, including a frog catching night which we will definitely be returning to participate in! I will definitely be returning to the Duchy Guesthouse. The only thing I would want to add is maybe a small splash pool for those hot summer days. Other than that, I would not change a thing. We felt very safe and at home. Thank you so much for all the care. We will be back soon!

Paasnaweekkuier saam met familie. Die gastehuis is baie oud en is so 'n bietjie verwaarloos. Daar was oneindige probleme met warm water. Die kombuis is baie basies en die stoof en ketel kan vervang word. Dit is 'n lekker kuierhuis, as jy nie luuksheid verwag nie.

Pragtig. Rustig. Was baie beïndruk met ontvangs van eienaars. Vriendelik. Profesioneel. Het baie tuis gevoel. Was baie ontspanne en huis was goed ingerig en dekor was pragtig. Het moeite gedoen om mens welkom te laat voel en ekstra goedjies uitgesit soos perskes, kersboom en blomme. Sal beslis weer gaan.
