A fairly pleasurable stay. The first night was a bit of a nightmare. There was no hot water and no electricity. The following day the gate was not working, so we could not get out. When the electricity came on, everything was better the second night.

Lovely, clean, rooms are warm and beautiful. It was very lovely to have stayed at The Lux - I would like to add that it would have been more comfortable to have had more items in the self-catering unit such as drinking glasses, cloths to dry the kitchenware and sponges to wash the dishes.

Not value for money. Sink leaking. Water too hot or too cold. Couldn't take a shower. Place needs attention. Bed slept well, but finishing of room is poor. Would not book again.
