Grootvalleij Farm - Sonvanger is charming self-catering unit located on the farm Grootvalleij just 18 km outside of the small town of Kamieskroon. The farm is well-known for its wildflowers and enjoys close proximity to Namaqua National Park via a 4 km private road.
Sonvanger is a spacious unit that can comfortably accommodate up to 2 guests in a double bedroom and an ensuite bathroom with a shower and toilet. The kitchen and living area is open-plan, with a sleeper couch for families travveling with children. The living area has an indoor fireplace. There is a large covered veranda in the shade of a thorn tree, and guests can enjoy the view and the birdsong while sitting outside with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Millions of stars await once the sun sets.
Sonvanger is situated quite close to its neighbour Die Kliphuisie. The 2 units can be rented out together for larger groups, or friends and family travelling together. Their proximity to each other does not, however, infringe on guests privacy.
