The place could have easily been a 10/10 if it wasn't for the owner's attitude. The place was beautiful, stunning scenery and very safe. The manager was very helpful and kind. However, the owner was not nice, enquired about a microwave which was not available at the Aloe room, and she made a big fuss about it. I would think a microwave is a very basic amenity; we just wanted to warm our food. She had to tell us it's not a hotel or guesthouse, so there is no microwave. First time I have ever heard that excuse.

Hello Nzolo, We thank you for your honest review. As a guest house with our level of standards, it is very upsetting to receive a review of this nature, and we are very sorry for your negative experience at our establishment. We feel it is important to note here that your request for a microwave came in late at night after 10:15 pm. The owner did attend to your request and heated your food, bringing it back to you on a tray with serviettes. Our point about not being a hotel was that we do not offer room service, not that we do not have microwaves. Our other 4 rooms do have microwaves and you booked one that did not. This is clearly stated on the listing for this suite. We are glad you loved the comfort and views and hope you enjoyed the complimentary bubbles, chocolates, and fresh flowers we had waiting for your Valentine's weekend stay.

Beautiful. I was there for a short stay. Vanessa is a great host; welcoming and friendly. The unit is beautiful and very clean. I could spend the whole day in the room.
