Misleading photos of swimming pool. The room was comfortable as were the beds, and we enjoyed the outside area, and made good use of the braai provided to us by Kathy. It could do with much needed maintenance as the fee is R1500 per night and compared to other places in that category, it ranks very poorly. The huge disappointment was the pool. My preference for activities when booking an establishment for my family in summer is having a swimming pool. The only word to use about the 'communal' pool and the pool facilities is dilapidated. On our way to the pool, a gentleman informed me that there is sediment at the bottom of the pool, but if it was just sediment this could be cleaned with a pool cleaner. The lining of the pool is clearly corroded and dirty is the only word to describe what you see. The pool is severely cracked above the water level, and the brickwork surrounding the pool is in disrepair. The 'pool house' has no roof, which I saw as a safety hazard, and there were dirty white plastic chairs all covered in cobwebs, clearly hadn't been used or cleaned in months. There are no loungers or clean chairs to sit on; we attempted to lie on the grass but had to then experience the smell and sight of dog poo (we also had dogs barking at us through the window of the house next to the pool).

Perfect, great view! Did not actually spend a lot of time in the venue, we had a wedding nearby. But very nice stay, would 100% recommend. The view was great and the owner is also very nice and understanding. They also split up the double bed to accommodate us, which was also very thoughtful!

Wonderful place, friendly staff, good service. Everyone, including the staff, was super friendly and helpful with super quick responses when needed. The place is very neat and clean, with a breathtaking view. Their food is very nice. Thanks to everyone who made it so welcoming to be there. Will definitely go back there.
