Pilgrims Rest offers interesting historical sights and Graskop is the home of the renowned Harrie's Pancake restaurant! The more immediate surrounds of Dullstroom offer opportunities for horse riding and visiting working farms - like the Pendle Hill Dairy. This farm sells a range of purely organic produce to excellent gifts for the family back home! Dullstroom is also home to a thriving cultural scene - there are a number of small art studios and galleries with quirky and excellent art on show.

The most famous Dullstroom attraction of all, however, is fishing. Dullstroom is renowned for its great trout streams and scenic fishing spots. Enthusiasts from across South Africa travel to this town to fish, the well-stocked rivers and dams teeming with Rainbow and Brown trout. A valid Mpumalanga Angling License is required to fish in the public dams - of which there are two. The best fishing is to be had on one of the private farms in the area - ask the owner of the Dullstroom accommodation you choose for advice on which farms are the best to obtain access to.
