"Goes to sleep on a Monday or after a long weekend. Found it difficult to find a restaurant open. Found 1 that closed at 3 pm who very kindly gave us takeaways on their own plates for dinner! No petrol in the pumps over the long weekend. Our car broke down and a young mechanic Simon Miller was most helpful and got us a new fuel pump and got us back on the road very quickly. Was our 5th visit to McGregor as I attend the Millstone Jamborees."
