"Being our first visit to Marloth Park, we were not too sure what to expect, but found the entire park to be very well maintained and clean. All of the patrons in the park were very friendly and welcoming. The stores are very well stocked and reasonable in pricing. There are various restaurants and pubs to visit within the park, so one doesn't have to necessarily travel outside, unless visiting the Kruger Park itself. We look forward to returning to the park in the future."

"The fact that it is no longer possible to restrict access to the conservancy is a step in the wrong direction. We felt safe there, but don't at all appreciate this latest development. We actually witnessed how a group of noisy people from outside just came in and made themselves at home on the veranda of an unoccupied house. At the end of the day they were gone."
"Fix your sewage problem, you beautiful waterfall smelled foul. Otherwise a nice town and a great base from which to explore the area."
"Hazyview was very a busy town with lots of traffic and poorly maintained infrastructure."

Elephant Walk Retreat"Great self drive experience. Plenty game sightings."
"Pragtige, rustige omgewing. Baie goeie waarde vir geld. Genoeg diere besoekers en naggeluide uitstekend! "
"This is one of South Africa's premier birding locations and has a large population of threatened species. Bird Life South Africa and Bird Life International have recognised it as both a National and Global IBA. There are two hides accessed from a wooden walkway and no entry fee. The town itself looks fascinating - it is an historic spot and many of the buildings reflect this. There are interesting shops, a small hotel and a few eateries; also, I suspect quite a lot of local craft. We did not, unfortunately have time to explore all the possibilities as we were only there for one night; but we shall definitely go back!"
"Some roads are in a very bad condition, not every visitor to Marloth Park has a vehicle capable of handling those conditions. It would be a good idea to bring it to the potential visitors attention before they commit themselves to booking accommodation."
