"Springbok was a surprise. We liked it a lot and shopping at SuperSpar - made it easy."
"Many attractions. Close to quiet little towns, the Atlantic Ocean and Nature reserves. Cape/Namibia route is a scenic route with stunning passes. Green Kalahari, Namaqua land and Richtersveld within reach. Close to Augrabies Falls."
"A beautiful part of the country and we were fortunate to get the tale end of the flower season. The peak of the flower season must be spectacular!"
Rustige omgewing."
"Apart from the flower season, Springbok is only a stopover to somewhere else. Has a good range of shops and services to stock up if going to Namibia or the coast. Note that the shops close earlier than in major cities so need to adjust expectations as to opening hours. There are a few historic monuments in the area but many are difficult to access or a little rundown. The Namaqualand Museum in town seems a bit decrepit. Some of the exhibits seem to have disappeared judging by the labels and others just casually displayed. The range of exhibits also shows little of the area and history and appear like entirely random items."
