"Not the most exciting place to visit but if one needs to get away from city living this is it. Quiet, clean and safe with friendly people and a couple of pretty good restaurants."

"The local fish market is mentioned in various places, however the fish market no longer is in business. Already for a few years from what we could determine from the locals. The pans for the fish are there. Aparently the local fishermen have been closed down because of the big fishing industry. The staff at "Stay In Paternoster" were friendly and helpful. Paternoster itself is very beautiful and has a lot to offer, lots of lovely places to visit and see. The people are very firendly. The beach walks were wonderful and full of shells and bird life."

"Tydens ons verblyf was daar heelwat dooie diere op die strand, onder andere dooie seemeeue, robbe en selfs 'n bokkie. Die feit dat dit daar gebly het en nie opgetel/skoongemaak is vir meer as 4 dae wat ons daar was is onaanvaarbaar. Ons het met "e-bikes" van Paternoster tot by die ligtoring by Tietiesbaai gery - wat 'n belewenis en baie pret met die mooiste natuurskoon."

"Very small village, more for surfing. If Verlorenvlei was more easily accessible to visitors it would be an extra bonus."
