"No where was Witsand marketed as a fishing town. Definitely not a beach town. To windy. "
"Pragtige dorpie. Lekkerste skaaptjops by Misty Tin!"
"Dit het veilig voorgekom. Jy stap sommer see toe en terug. Almal se tuine en die omgewing is mooi versorg. Die strand was ook mooi skoon."
"Water restrictions are killing the town! Businesses are struggling. Rome is burning and a pathetic municipality is watching it all going down! "
"Malmesbury itself is not a very exciting tourist town. The Swartland as a whole has been ecologically damaged by intensive wheat farming for hundreds of years. There is little left of the old historic centre of Malmesbury. This is why hidden, ecologically sensitive, wild places like Fynbos Estate are so precious in the area. We managed to be near Malmesbury (my grandmother's home town), but yet feel like we were in the country. It was great to be so close, however to Cape Town and Stellenbosch, although I still need to visit the interesting Malmesbury Museum located in the old Jewish Shul. "
