Description
16 Brenton Park is a 4-bedroom self-catering cottage situated in Brenton Park, in the Lake Brenton area of Knysna. Brenton Park is safe and secure with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It is a short distance to the lagoon with jetty access and is within close proximity to the beach at Brenton-on-Sea, which is a quick drive over the hill. The town of Knysna is a 15 km drive away.
The face brick cottage can accommodate up to 8 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living area which leads to a dining area and a built-in braai or fireplace with large sliding doors opening onto a huge lawn. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and offers an en-suite bathroom fitted with a toilet, basin, and shower. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and the third and fourth bedrooms each have 2 single beds. The second bathroom has a toilet, basin, bath, and shower. All linen and bath towels are provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a dishwasher, stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, Nespresso machine, cutlery and crockery. There is also a breakfast bar with stools. The dining area has seating space for 8 people, while the lounge has a comfy lounge suite and a TV with DStv. The indoor braai area has two comfortable cane chairs and can be used to braai or to warm the house with a cosy fire.
The cottage is set in beautiful park-like surroundings where guineafowl, bunnies and bushbuck roam freely and the birdlife is prolific. There are a variety of restaurants in the nearby vicinity, as well as a small shop at Brenton on Sea. Within Brenton Park, there are 2 tennis courts, croquet courts, a swimming pool, a children's play area, a coin-operated laundry on-site, and lovely open lawns.
