2 Karlin Chalet on the Beach is a charming self-catering unit. It is one of only two front line garden duplex units with panoramic sea views set in a small beachfront complex of 9 units in Scottburgh, a quaint village along the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. The South Coast is a subtropical paradise of forests, beaches, warm Indian Ocean waters, and plenty of sunshine. Its coastline oozes laziness around every cove yet has plenty of fun activities.
This double-storey unit can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms and a loft area. Please note that the unit has stairs. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed and features an air-conditioner and access to a patio with beautiful sea views. The second bedroom contains twin single beds while the loft area also has twin single beds, an air-conditioner and small lounge area. There are 2 separate bathrooms (one shower and one bath).
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, kettle, washing machine and tumble-dryer. Additional facilities include a TV with DVD player and Numerous DVDs, WiFi and the DStv full package can be activated at an additional cost of R30 per day. Secure parking and a private braai area and ground floor patio in a lovely private garden. Private 2-man kayak for use.
The complex has an outside shower.
The complex offers direct access via a short beach path to a long stretch of sandy beach, and a short stroll to the main beach where guests can enjoy swimming, snorkelling, diving, surfing, beach volleyball, or sunbathing and water slides.
