360on62 Sylvia's @ The Farmhouse offers self-catering accommodation with 360-degree mountain views on a working farm. The farm is situated just 7 km outside the charming village of Montagu, in the Little Karoo on the R62. A 193 km drive from Cape Town brings one through the stone portals of Cogmanskloof to the Little Karoo and this historic village in a fertile valley enclosed by the Swartberg and Langeberg Mountain Ranges.
The cosy cottage accommodates 2 guests and consists of a bedroom and a bathroom. The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom equipped with a toilet, washbasin, and a shower.
The open-plan living area includes a kitchenette equipped with a fridge-freezer, oven, kettle, cutlery, and crockery, as well as a gas cooker. The cottage does not have TVs to distract you from the sounds of birdsong or the call of jackals and foxes. Spotted eagle owls and Cape eagle owls are handsome predators and are often seen and heard at the cottages.
Outside, guests have access to a patio with a braai area as well as a private jacuzzi. A communal braai facility at the swimming pool enables a large group to braai together in the lapa. The pool overlooks the majestic Langeberg Mountains and is a great setting for a sundowner or for simply lazing around on a hot day. Secure parking is available on the premises.
