Amazing and a bit frustrating. Would I recommend it? Yes and No. Yes: Perfect location with amazing views! Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. Amazing lounge and patio to relax and enjoy company of friends. No: Service received was a bit poor, as we had troubles with the gas braai on the patio - no real solution was offered, apart from them sending a handyman 2 days after we had already left. It was very noisy. 2 out of the 4 nights we had to go down to security past 23:00 and ask them to quiet the neighbours down. The swimming pool of the complex was empty and being renovated. None of this was mentioned prior to our arrival. DSTV was not as advertised - it is DSTV Now, via streaming through the app - which didn't work for all 4 days of our stay (also if you don't have your own DSTV Now logins, you won't be able to access DSTV at all). There was a terrible smell in the one bedroom, that even after cleaning and new bedding, still remained. We were told it is a building problem, regarding water and damp and no time of repair was given. This made it unpleasant for the people staying in that room. So, a bit mixed, and maybe we just had a bad weekend in terms of everything that went wrong at once. We would really want to go back, because the location and view is just superb - not sure if we will just yet.

There are however a few things I feel is important to mention in regards to your review: The gas braai was working until you had put the new gas bottle (the full spare we had in the apartment) on the gasbraai. It was not connected correctly. After we reconnected it there was no problem found with the braai. In regards to the DSTV, it is DSTV streaming, of which the owners login details are used for the account, thus you do not need your own account for this. You confirmed via email that the DSTV was working and never mentioned that there was a problem with it. Had you done so we would have been able to assist you to log back in and sort the problem out. In regards to the pool it was under renovation as your stay with us was in June, the month during which the pool is the least used. We have been giving our guests who wants to use pool access to the complex next door. Had you asked I would have been able to assist you with this. As for the smell, there is no damp in the building or the apartment.
