51 on Arum is a charming self-catering house located beneath the Robberg Nature Reserve in a secure residential estate with 24-hour security in Plettenberg Bay. This property offers a serene environment, with birdlife, scenic gardens, 2 dams, and a communal swimming pool, and is within a 10-minute walk from the nearest pristine Blue Flag beach.
This house has a sleeping capacity of 6 guests and comprises 3 tastefully furnished bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area. The main bedroom is tastefully furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, toilet and a heated towel rail. It boasts cupboard space, a desk area, and its own private and quiet little patio, where you can relax with a morning coffee or a good book. The second and third bedrooms are each furnished with 2 single beds, and share the use of a bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin, toilet and a heated towel rail. Linen and towels are provided.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, kettle and toaster. In the scullery, there is a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer for guests’ convenience. Additionally, there is also a portable washing rack and iron board. There is also a 6-seater dining area where guests can enjoy their meals. The adjacent lounge is furnished with comfortable couches and a TV with DStv, and a cosy fireplace. There is a sunny reading corner with many books to choose from. There is an inverter in place to cater for power outages. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available.
From the kitchen and dining room, doors open up onto a spacious covered patio with an outdoor dining area perfect for alfresco dining. There is a Weber kettle braai to enjoy outdoor cooking on those long summer nights.
A complementary starter pack containing tea, coffee, sugar and milk is offered, as well as dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing powder and softener.
Please note that this facility has a strictly no-pet policy. Smoking / vaping is only allowed outside.
If cleaning services are required, this needs to be arranged before arrival.
Enough linen and towels are provided, a R750 damage deposit is also payable on arrival and will be refunded afterwards.
A brand new mall is being built and will be opening doors towards the end of November 2024. Shopping convenience just outside the estate.
