Wow! We did not see that coming. It was as if we had stumbled into a magical treasure chest. Amazing energy and therapy. We will be back. Beautiful spaces and people. We left feeling we had been magically restored! Beautiful beach just a few hundred meters away, an added bonus!

Perfect for a quick overnight stay! Will definitely recommend 55 On Main, especially if you are doing a one-day trip as we did for a quick break away.

The location is great and with a few minor changes could have been ideal. Overall we enjoyed our stay, especially the easy access to the beach. The area is busy, but we were not at all inconvenienced by the proximity to the Main Road. However, the accommodation was more suited as a B&B than self-catering. For the season, the staff complement wasn't ideal as the handyman wasn't available for repairs to the toilet (one, which didn't work for our entire stay) and tidying of the unit was erratic. The reception isn't staffed continually and on occasion, the door to the Main Road was not locked. It would have been great to have a place to hang towels and bathing costumes out to dry after a visit to the beach. More, better quality kitchen utensils would have made preparing meals less of a hassle.

Beautiful setting, close to the beach and all other amenities. 55 On Main, will definitely recommend a stay here, our room was ready on arrival, and Thandi was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is in general absolutely amazing.

Convenient short term accommodation. Although the location is central in Fishhoek CBD, the venue is located across the road from Fishhoek station which is noisy and unpleasant. Although pleasantly renovated, the building is old and therefore has no elevator. Accommodation rooms are small with all situated on the 2nd floor and above with stairs for access.

Super place to stay! Tanya at 55 On Main was extremely helpful, going out of her way to make us feel at home. We loved the location of the guesthouse as we could walk everywhere from there. The quirky design of the interior was amazing and everything was neat and clean. We will definitely stay at 55 On Main again!

Too short, but sweet! Needed one night's accomodation close to a function we attended in Fish Hoek and we were pleasantly surprised with the neat, spacious 55 on Main. Pity for the power outage on Sunday, but we will be back soon.

Geen slaap nie. Daar is teveel geraas. Regs langs die stasie. In die aande is dit nog steeds besig. Geen slaap gekry die eerste aand nie. Deur die dag is dit soveel erger. Ek't toe erens anders gaan bly die 2de dag. Ontvangs is daar amper nooit iemand nie.
