Owner provided full information and was incredibly helpful. House was fully equipped. We really enjoyed the porch and private garden.

Fantastic. Very nice units, stayed in the right cottage September 2023. All criticism is the cleaning lady was a bit troublesome. All the time in our company and in the morning with out book she was standing around waiting and starting to clean the braai just after 8 o'clock. We only wanted to have breakfast and come back, so we decided to pack everything earlier since she was already starting to clean there.

Terribly cute little place, my type of style. Lovely place, owners went the extra mile for us after our vehicle gave problems.

Pleasant experience. We had a wonderful stay in our overnight stay and the hostess Wilna and her helper, Bella, were very hospitable and friendly. Accommodation was very neat and clean. Will definitely stay there again if we have to stay in George.

Handlebar Cottage @ 56 Stockenstrom. Everything was very clean and tidy. Kitchen was fully equipped. There was fine wood and logs for 2 evenings for the fireplace and a pot with beautiful garden flowers on the kitchen table, it made us feel very at home. Clean towels were provided every day (we stayed 2 nights). Garden at the back is beautiful and spacious, and although we didn't barbecue (due to the cold weather) everything is there if you wanted to barbecue. We wanted to stay close to Outeniqua High School for the sports tournament, and the cottage was literally within walking distance (about 1km). Only negative aspect regarding location was that the street in which the cottage is located carries a lot of traffic. Maybe not ideal for a light sleeper. Wilna and Johan, you were always very friendly and helpful, we appreciate your hospitality. Please take a good look at Hester, she is worth gold.

We had a great time despite the bad weather. We were disappointed that where we stayed did not match the photo of the ad at all and there was no mention of another unit. We made it work, but would have liked to have been informed, especially with the weather that was there. The toaster does not work and the power kicks out. We had a van parking. Very handsome.

Nice central in George. We had a great stay and Wilna was very friendly. The Spar is within walking distance and many of the places of interest are very close. The cottage has a nice and comfortable kitchen, with a gas stove and kettle that helps with load shedding. There is also a large porch with a built-in braai for a nice visit. The bathroom is just a bit neat and the floor gets soaking wet during the shower. More shelves in the bathroom might help. We will definitely stay here again. Definitely value for money. Thanks it was fun!
