Description
809 Umdloti Resort is a dramatic loft apartment opening directly onto the sea. It is 10 minutes drive from King Shaka International Airport. As such Umdloti is the ideal stopover for people entering or exiting KwaZulu-Natal exploring the rich diversity of beaches, game reserves, mountains and culture or merely visiting on business.
This 2-level stylish apartment comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area with beautiful all round sea views. The main loft bedroom is en-suite and leads out to an open balcony facing the sea. The downstairs bedroom is smaller and situated at the back of the ground floor of the apartment and does not have a view. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned for guest comfort in the hot summer months. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and the second bedroom has 2 single beds, all dressed in pure cotton linen. The second bedroom can also be set up as a king-size. Guests just need to let us know in time what their preference is.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas and electric oven and there is a dishwasher, washing machine/dryer combination for guest convenience. The kitchen is designed to entertain and there is also a gas braai on the open front balcony. Access to free Wi-Fi is available. A Smart TV with selected DStv channels is available.
The Resort has 2 large swimming pools, a child-only swimming pool and an extensive entertainment area with braai facilities and seating for guest use. Umdloti beaches are very user friendly and the swimming area is patrolled by lifeguards and protected with shark nets. There are a myriad of inshore tidal pools to explore at low tide and the Umdloti Beach Tidal Pool system is a quick walk up the beach.
