Abigail's Garden Cottage is situated within the town of Montagu. The cottage is ideal for a couple with 1 or 2 children or 3 adults looking for a tranquil break away from city life. Abigail's Garden Cottage is situated in a lush garden where children are free to run around and enjoy themselves. The cottage is only 7 mins walk down the hill to many restaurants, pubs etc. We are centrally situated 2 streets away from the busy main street in a quite part of town.

The accommodation is a self-catering cottage consisting of 1 bedroom and a separate dining, living area. There is 1 queen-size bed and a single day bed in the room. The bathroom with shower etc. is en-suite. There is a sofa bed in the open plan TV lounge which is double bed size. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full gas stove and oven. A small table top oven and microwave. The fridge is a full sized unit with freezer. The lounge comprises of the sofa bed, easy chair, small dining table and chairs. There is a TV with Netflix and Youtube and it is wired for DSTV so guests can bring their DSTV decoder and Smart Card.

Outside there are 2 patios, one of which has a portable braai and the other patio has a small table and chairs. There is a secure carport with gates that can be locked. Well-behaved pets are welcome by arrangement. The garden is filled with 30 species of birds and a few tortoises.

Abigail's Garden Cottage is only a mere 7-minute walk into the town's main street with numerous restaurants, pubs and hiking trails. The cottage is not suitable for two couples sharing. Perfect for a couple or family of 3-4, or singles. We offer a special rate for single travelers.
