Lovely, clean and warm. 2 rolls of toilet paper too little for 5 people for a weekend. Just one tongs for wood and meat.

Well rested and peaceful atmosphere. The accommodation is well equipped and relaxing on the wooden deck. At night he has the noise of all the vehicles traveling on the N1 route, but otherwise very nice.

Easy and enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at AfriCamps at Karoo 1! It was exactly what we expected and were looking for. Very neat and perfectly furnished. Unfortunately there was no water in the rock pool and the pool was green. This was due to electricity problems and no maintenance on AfriCamps or Karoo1's side. We were able to use the "hot tub". The restaurant at Karoo1 has delicious food. The mountain bike trails are very beautiful.

So so. The tent accommodation in no 13 with hot tub was wonderful with a nice view to the mountain. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the grounds. The beaded cabinets you receive have been lying around for years. Paper and plastic are lying around, porches are not swept, and fields are full of weeds. We waited 25 minutes for breakfast and it was cold. Staff are making noise in the kitchen. The receptionist accepted cash from me and gave me change from her handbag. I have not received any proof of payment.

Clean air, clean place, clean nature! Everything was nice and clean and will visit this place again. Karoo 1 is also very good with their customer service. The fact that it is pet friendly was a huge bonus!

If you want to get away from the city, ideal. Quiet tranquility. Reception could have informed us on arrival that we did not have to vacate at 10:00, because they were surprised because we were leaving so early. Restaurant where breakfast was served was not fully prepared for number of guests. Didn't have enough stock and juice and yogurt were warm. We love supporting getaways. Would have appreciated if we could see the bill and not just be told the amount verbally. Maybe there could be a map to show tent numbers so people can choose based on preference.

Lovely, luxurious accommodation in a beautiful tent. Nature is beautiful! We really enjoyed our weekend at Africamps Karoo 1! This little fireplace was perfect for the cold weather we had. The tents are very well insulated and we didn't get cold at all when the fire was burning. The beds are good quality with luxury bedding. Nice big shower and the water is always hot. The nature and location are breathtaking. We will definitely go again.

Good potential, but this visit was not good. The AfriCamps tent was well furnished with a nice fireplace inside that warms the whole tent. We didn't use the hot tub, but it was available and clean. We were unhappy with the fact that we were placed in a tent that was right across from an area where there were workers working on something. The accommodation is pet friendly so we took our dogs with us, but of course our dogs wanted to bark at the workers all the time. Workers who drill and make noise are of course also not pleasant if you want silence and rest in nature. After I complained about this we were quickly helped and moved to another tent for the 2nd night. However, we could still hear the workers the next morning from 10:00 - sound just goes into a gorge. I feel that maintenance work in such a case should be done when there are no visitors - rather close the whole area and get the job done. Or at least warn guests that they are unfortunately going to hear workers working.
