Good Free State rest stop. Next time out of season. We enjoyed being in nature. The ablution is exceptionally neat and clean. Cleaners are on duty until late at night to make sure of that. Note: If you don't like deafening Afrikaans music in the caravan park and by the swimming pool, stay away from Aldam during peak season. This is a resort with a lot of potential, but clearly lacking in maintenance and management. The staff at reception are not at all geared towards visitors.

Very disappointed. Was not impressed with the swimming pool, it is very dirty and we could not use it properly. The camping site had no water for part of the time. People play loud music all day and until late at night. No rules are enforced.
