Nestled in the scenic Karoo, Aloevale Karoo Farmhouse & Cottages is situated on a private working livestock and game farm approximately 34.6 km outside of Klipplaat. It is ideally suited for guests who are looking for a quiet escape surrounded by nature.
This property provides guests a choice of 3 different self-catering units depending on their needs. Guests can choose between 2 smaller cottages or a large farmhouse. All three of these units feature private entrances, comfortable beds, private bathrooms, living areas, kitchens, patios and braai facilities. Fresh rainwater is provided for drinking.
The fully equipped kitchen in the farmhouse offers a freezer, a fridge, a microwave, an electric/gas stove and oven, a toaster, a kettle, an ice-maker, a sandwich toaster, a filter coffee press as well as an array of pots and pans. Braai enthusiasts will appreciate the potjie and bread pots, pizza braai, braai dishes, braai grids, and tongs at their disposal. Ample dishes and utensils cater to the convenience of preparing food for large groups, with more than 16 pieces of crockery and cutlery available. Additionally, the large farmhouse boasts an indoor braai, an outdoor entertainment/braai area and a swimming pool. The bedrooms have air-conditioning.
The fully equipped kitchens in each of the smaller cottages offer a fridge/freezer, a microwave, a gas stove and oven, a toaster, a kettle, a sandwich toaster, a filter coffee press as well as an array of pots and pans. Braai enthusiasts will appreciate the stoep braai, boma, braai dishes, braai grids, and tongs at their disposal. An array of crockery and cutlery are available.
All three are also equipped with Eskom power and hot water, in case of power outages, lamps and gas cookers are available. Please note that the area is serviced by a Vodacom tower, but with patchy coverage, data usage may be slow. Access to Wi-Fi is available.
Guests have access to parking on the premises, views of the waterhole which livestock and game frequently visit, as well as guided game drives.
This property is approximately 62.4 km away from Aberdeen and 67.2 km away from Jansenville where guests can enjoy amenities such as countryside shops and restaurants.
