Briljante akkommodasie! Pragtige plek wat baie gerieflik is. Uitstekende blyplek. Ons het net nie die kode gekry om die sleutel te kry nie. Het darem na 'n rukkie reggekom deur die hulp van die webtuiste.

Exceeded my expectations. We had a lovely stay.

Dissapointing. Firstly, when we arrived at check-in, the parking allocated to us had some garden equipment. We eventually had to move it aside before help arrived. Aircon – yes, I was under the impression that the place was air-conditioned, but it was confined to the room and did not help in the living area, considering Durban's unbearable weather conditions, especially the humidity. I requested a fan, which took a while to arrive. When we plugged it in, it did not work, so we had a fan that did not work for the night. We could not assemble the bed in the lounge area, so my daughter had to sleep on the floor. The next morning, when we tried to make breakfast, the gas was finished. I sent a message to the host and called the website. We were told that somebody would bring the gas bottle up to us, but it took some time. By then, we were already leaving for our function. I sent the host a message informing her that I would like to check out and book alternative accommodation. Since we had to leave, I did not see her response until we got back late at night, so I left it. I just think that if we had received good service as soon as we informed our host, we would not have complained. Nothing we raised was seen as urgent—it was handled in their own time. The host did let me know she was in Cape Town for family reasons, and I do understand that. However, if you are renting out your place, you should have someone on standby in case of emergencies. Had that been done, everything would have been fine. I know there are only good reviews on this apartment, which is why I booked it. Unfortunately, this was our experience. I don’t want any response from the host—she already sent me a message and apologized. These are just lessons to learn from. I have moved on from this experience and wouldn’t want others to go through the same. Thanks.

Highly recommend Apartment 33. A very nice, neat and well-furnished apartment. In a quiet neighbourhood. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to Durban.
