Quiet and peaceful. Lovely big house with a nice view from the porch. Extremely well equipped, attention paid to every possibility. Buks was very friendly and dealings with Beulah were effortless and quick. Our dogs enjoyed the large lawn and were able to browse around everywhere. The house was also wonderfully warm when we woke up, even with the light snowfall outside. Note, there is no cell phone reception in the yard or a long drive away.

Peaceful and quiet, safe farm stay in large old farmhouse and good value for money. It was exactly what we needed after a messy 2020. Big old farmhouse with wide hallway, big rooms and all the amenities needed for a nice peaceful farm break. The indoor braai was a big plus, because it rained almost every night. It was also great not to have a cell phone signal at home, but if you need to make a quick or emergency call there is a signal about 500 m away from the farmhouse. . Beulah received us very kindly and made sure we had everything we needed and knew where everything was and how everything worked. We were even invited over for a drink to her and Buks' house and we had a great time visiting and chatting. It rained 2 of the 3 days which was fantastic to experience in the Karoo. So we didn't use the pool. Nice mountain bike routes on beautiful farm roads in both directions from the farmhouse.

Large old farmhouse with views over a piece of land with hub and mountains. The dirt road from the N9 to Asemskep is very bad, From Nieu-Bethesda there are no directions and no signal for Google Maps. Very deserted, no vehicle encountered.

Remote, clean and all facilities. Very safe in an old renovated farm house. Quiet and peaceful with open area. House is clean and neat. Owners are very hospitable.

It feels like coming home. Als is perfectly clean and tidy. Old world beautiful. Special Christmas decorations made. Delicious hot farm food! Beulah is a bundle of joy. She makes the extra effort. Took out the most beautiful Christmas decorations and put on the candle lights for us. The old trees on the site must be hundreds of years old, their diameter is probably more than 2 meters. After more than 1000 km for the day it was wonderful to be able to eat hot Karooplaas food and get into a nice clean bed early.

Proper Karoo farm experience! What a beautiful experience! Big and spacious inside, needs some work outside, but the setting is stunning. Beulah and Buks' hospitality was second to none. Our children and dogs thoroughly enjoyed it!
