The Peacock Cottage @ Ashwini Retreat is set on a horse farm in the Wilderness Forest Estate. Nestled on a picturesque farm amid the beautiful landscapes of Sedgefield's forests and rivers, it provides a serene escape for guests seeking downtime. Here, guests can immerse themselves in nature and get much-needed rest and rejuvenation.
This unit can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child and is furnished with a double bed. It has 1 en-suite bedroom with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. It extends to the dining space where guests can enjoy their meals and further opens to the lounge with a sleeper couch for a child.
It has a fireplace and outside braai. Guests can use the pool and visit the stables or explore the surrounding forest on foot or mountain bike. Horse trails are available nearby.
On-site, guests can interact with horses and other farm animals, explore the herb garden, or enjoy diverse birdlife, with the soothing sounds of fish eagles, and owls accompanying their stay.
