Description
Assendelft Lodge & Bush Camp is situated 40 km from Prince Albert, an area best known for its hiking trails, nature, wildlife, museums, farmers market and iconic attractions which include the Swartberg Pass. The perfect getaway spot for those seeking a holiday away from the buzzing city life.
Accommodation is comprised of 8 units, suited to accommodate up to 17 guests. The units on offer include Lodge Rooms, a Cottage, and Bush Camp Chalets.
The two Lodge Rooms are suitable for two guests per room. One room has a queen size bed, the other room has two single beds. Each room has a shower, toilet and basin. The rooms are air-conditioned and also have a small fridge and breakfast table. Breakfast is self-service consisting of granola, yoghurt, fruit juice, tea and coffee, which can be enjoyed in the room or on the patio. Braai facilities can be provided for evening meals.
The Cottage is next door to the Lodge and comprises a bedroom with a double bed, en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin, an air-conditioned living area with a kitchenette and a single bed. It is thus suitable for a family with one or two small children. Breakfast is the same as for the Lodge and braai facilities can be provided.
The Bush Camp comprises five Chalets, each having two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. Each Chalet is equipped with a gas single cooker, cutlery, crockery, glassware and all linen is provided. Braai facilities are available at each Chalet.
Camping in tents, caravans, etc. is permitted at the Bush Camp. There are no demarcated camping stands but suitable areas are available.
