Description
Badfontein Guest Farm and Camping is a working farm on the banks of the Orange River, just 15 km from Aliwal North. The guest farm offers comfortable self-catering accommodation and a campsite in a peaceful atmosphere where guests can enjoy lovely sunsets over the river and starry night skies.
Accommodation is offered in 3 self-catering units: a 2-bedroom garden cottage, a 1-bedroom cottage, and a 2-bedroom flat. The units comprise their own kitchens and bathrooms, and have access to braai facilities. There is a natural sulfur pool on the farm which guests are welcome to enjoy, as well as plenty of veld paths round the farm for those wishing to go for a stroll.
Activities on the farm include camping, fishing in the river and dams, and bird watching. For those interested in San paintings, this can be arranged by appointment only, and guests will be accompanied by a guide. Breakfast can also be requested by prior arrangement.
