A trip into yesteryear. Spoiled by awesome hospitality. So on a long trip escorting abnormal loads from CPT to GP, we got stuck in Kimberley for three nights. Looking around for adorable accommodation led me to Bagpipe Lodge. I was a little surprised that it was further away from Kimberley than I had wanted to be. But when I arrived and discovered what felt like the unknown, I was more than happy. From the awesomely friendly and helpful Klara who received me and checked up regularly to see all was OK, and believe me, nothing was too much for her. This place is hidden away, steeped in history and an awesome place to go to forget the world and go into yesteryear.

Clean safe accommodation on your own. We really enjoyed the tranquility. Accommodation is very clean.
