Very nice stay. Lovely hidden cottage. Beautiful porch and braai area, lovely little river to pee in. Would have loved to have a nice table and chairs on the porch too!

Despite bg. incident, it was a lovely few days after all. What a truly beautiful setting! In winter though, it gets really cold. One is given a bag of firewood, but charged thereafter if you use it. Moreover, the furniture is very rickety. Our seater outside collapsed while we were sitting on it enjoying a glass of wine admiring the view, tipping us onto the cement, for all of which we were separately invoiced. Not a lot, mind you. But I cut myself trying to save the glass, and it still broke.

Lovely weekend with my dogs, silence and rest for the soul. Gerrit was very helpful and friendly, could call him freely if anything came up.
