Description

Bankfontein is located on a family farm about 39 km from the town of Philippolis and 41 km from Luckhoff. The farm borders the Vanderkloof dam in the southern Free State. Please note that you need a high clearance vehicle to reach the campsite via the gravel road. This road is more or less 12 km long.

Accommodation is provided in 6 structured tent categories. Each structured tent is furnished with a king-size or bunk beds. All linen is provided for the structure tents. There are 2 communal bathrooms equipped with hot water showers and toilets. The unique mountain shower is also an experience. The Exclusive Tent makes use of its own bathroom and braai facilities.

The communal entertainment area has braai facilities and a well-equipped kitchen. There are lights available at the braai area as well as limited with solar panel power points. Guests are also welcome to use the freezer and fridge facilities if required.

Bankfontein has limited mobile signal on some parts of the farm.
